Hisoka (ヒソカ Hisoka)
is a magician, as well as a serial killer. Hisoka is deceitful,
playful, and narcissistic by nature; he acts only according to
self-interest. Hisoka combines his magic tricks with violence, and
delights in battling against those he considers strong to the point of
sexual arousal. In the manga, his sentences within speech balloons typically end with a suit symbol.
Hisoka takes an interest in Gon and his friends after encountering them
during the Hunter Exam; although he initially is posited as an
antagonist due to affinity towards murder, he spends much of the series
acting as both an adversary and comrade to Gon. Nen type: Transmutation
Notorious for his graceful, cruel, and deceitful fighting ability,
Hisoka is proven to be deadly. However, his true abilities have never
been shown, as he is willing to fight enemies famous for their
terrifying power. For instance, he pondered prompting Illumi (whose
strength scored 95 points, even higher than 3 Zodiacs') into having a
death match with him, and even craved to confront Ging Freecss and Isaac
Netero. Apparently, he doesn't fight according to any conventional
martial art.
He is an unrivaled master in the usage of cards as edge weapons. Using Shu
enhanced poker cards as his primary weapon, he throws them with ease
and deadly accuracy. When he combines the use of his playing cards with
the use of his Nen Ability, they becomes an even deadlier weapon.
Combining his twisted genius with his
prestigiatory skills, Hisoka can set very elaborate and effective traps,
often using In to conceal his Nen attacks. His tricks usually don't get
discovered until after they are already in use.

Bungee Gum (伸縮自在の愛 Elastic Love)
Hisoka can alter his aura's consistency into an incredibly sticky
substance somewhat akin to bubble gum, albeit much stronger. It can be
used to pull opponents within punching range for a flurry of rebound
pummels. Bungee Gum can both stretch and contract, depending on what
Hisoka desires. It can be attached either by pointing at his target or
through direct physical contact. Additionally, Bungee Gum can also be
used do cover a greater area by molding it into a sheet rather than a
string. It is so reliable and durable that it can act as a shield
against attacks or as a means to return them to their original caster as
shown in the volley ball match against Razor when he returned Razor's Nen ball back to him, and against Gotoh
when he returned his Coin Bullets back to him. When not attached to
Hisoka's body, Bungee Gum cannot stretch more than 10 meters. Hisoka named this ability after a brand of chewing gum he liked as a child. He has shown the ability to alter his Bungee Gum´s shape and colour. He conceals Bungee Gum using in,
thus it cannot be seen unless his opponent uses Gyo. However, even if
an opponent uses Gyo, it is still almost impossible to avoid, as Hisoka
can simply attach Bungee Gum [on his fist] while hitting his opponent.
